Metric Fasteners
AALL AMERICAN Fasteners supplies all varieties of metric and standard inch fasteners.  Although metric and inch fasteners appear to be the same where a hex head cap screw is a hex head cap screw and a blind rivet is a blind rivet, they are uniquely different when it comes to dimensions and thread pitch.

How do metric fasteners work?

While many metric fasteners are called out by their dimensions, property classes, materials and finishes, many are referenced by their standards number.  Metric standard references include DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung or in English, German Institute for Standardization) and ISO (International Organization for Standards).  ISO is slowly becoming the preferred standard although many still use the DIN call out.
